Univest – West Chester

Univest found a great Main Street location for its new branch in West Chester in an existing building – now how to squeeze some commercial lending offices and their new prototype into an existing space?   The flexible layout of their prototype worked well in the first floor lease space, using some curved soffiting to define areas and taking advantage of the existing storefront glass for the offices, made for an easy fit-out.

Transcend Salon

Did you know?  Tenant fit-outs require an architect most of the time when you change commercial space.  We helped this small business owner start her own salon in an existing space.   We looked at the existing layout, reviewed the accessibility issues, and helped rearrange spaces to make it more efficient.  We even worked in a coffee/beverage bar!  With our help, the Owner picked the materials and colors herself and created a modern, industrial-feeling space, including stone, funky light fixtures, and a seating area – she even picked out the paneling used to cover the existing front desk – what you see is the back-side of the paneling!

Pop-Pop Yogurt

During the height of the fro-yo trend, SCF worked with Holly Nase Interiors to design this tenant fit-out in an old fire station.  The Owner worked with a graphic designer to develop its custom logo, inspired in memory of the Owner’s father, “Pop-Pop.”  Fresh, bright colors were used to complement the yogurt and toppings bar.

Univest Newtown Branch

SCF assisted Univest Bank & Trust Co. and its team with its new branch prototype design.  It has been called the “Apple Store of Banking” by Bucks Local News,  and incorporates new technology for the 21st century customer within a 2,200 SF retail footprint.  SCF, via Althouse, Jaffe & Associates, LLC, prepared the design and construction documents for the new facility.  SCF worked with Univest and its team of experts, including Branch Xpress, Ryan Banking Concepts, Holly Nase Interiors, Chudley Engineering, H. Mininger & Sons, Bergey’s Electric and Goods Heating and Plumbing to successfully complete the project.
