Springwood Court Basement
The family was interested in finishing their unfinished basement to add a bedroom, bathroom, and living space. After a building code review, we determined the existing basement met the exiting requirements for bedrooms and the project was a go! We zoned the space functionally to include a play area, living/seating area, a snack area with a kitchenette, full bathroom with a shower, built-in storage areas, and a new guest bedroom.
- Finished media room features a projector and 90-inch projection screen, as well as kid's play area.
- Room for a large seating area and we were able to get some natural light into the basement through the existing window.

- A comfortable guest bedroom with an existing emergency exiting window well
- New full bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and custom built-in shelving.
- On the left, behind the door, is the furnace, sump pump and hot water heater. We utilized every corner to maximize storage wherever we could, like this under stair pantry.
Sam was very professional, creative and timely when creating design options for our basement project. She gave us several floor plans and suggestions we never considered until the space was brought to life in the drawings. We were very pleased with SCFA and her architectural work.
